The gap under rooftop solar panels is a sheltered spot that pigeons and other birds often use for nesting. Over time that can mean noise, droppings on the roof and panels, and nesting material building up in gutters.
Our bird proofing service clears out what is already there and then proofs the panel perimeter to help stop birds getting back underneath.
What our bird proofing service covers
- Removal of accessible nesting material and debris from under panels
- Cleaning of droppings from the surrounding roof area and panel glass
- Fitting of proofing around the panel perimeter (type confirmed in your quote)
- Gutter check and clean-out where debris has collected
Benefits
- Helps keep birds from nesting under panels
- Less mess on the roof, panels and gutters
- Pairs well with solar panel and gutter cleaning in one visit
How we approach the job

Frequently asked questions
Will bird proofing affect my solar panels?
Proofing is fitted around the panel edges to block access underneath. We confirm the method in your quote, and recommend checking any warranty requirements from your panel installer.
Do you remove birds?
We clear out nesting material and proof the panels so birds cannot easily return. We do not handle wildlife removal.
