Pavers look great when clean, but the joints between them collect dirt, moss and weeds, and the surface darkens with mould and grime. Pressure cleaning brings back their colour and texture.
What our paver cleaning service covers
- Clay and concrete pavers
- Natural stone pavers (with appropriate pressure)
- Paved courtyards, pool surrounds and entertaining areas
- Joint cleaning to remove dirt and growth
Benefits
- Restores colour and texture
- Removes weeds and growth between pavers
- Safer underfoot
How we approach the job
We use a surface cleaner and adjust pressure for the paver type. Cleaning removes some jointing sand, so we will discuss whether re-sanding is recommended afterwards. Natural stone and older, softer pavers are cleaned at lower pressure.
Things to know before you book
- Joint sand can wash out during cleaning; re-sanding may be needed and can be quoted separately.
- Efflorescence (white salt deposits) may need a specialist treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Will cleaning wash out the sand between my pavers?
Some jointing sand is usually lost during cleaning. Re-sanding afterwards helps keep pavers stable and reduces weed growth.
